Florin Grama

Atlanta, GA 30307, USA, and E-mail: info@fgrama.com

Florin Grama started climbing in 1992. He has since achieved and surpassed many high points towards a successful climbing career - which is still a work in progress.
Besides sport climbing, he has had successes in alpine climbing, mountaineering, ice climbing and ski touring. He is presently touring the US in pursuit of climbing excellence and coaching the junior team for the Vertical Adventures

While in Romania, he organized regional competitions for artificial structure sport climbing (including setting up the routes for the competitions). He also organized schools for ski and alpine winter climbing and mountaineering. He co-founded a local climbing club in Caransebes, Romania. His activities at the club included, among others, building the first artificial climbing wall in the region, teaching kids and
teenagers the basics of rock climbing on both artificial structures and rock, coaching the club's sport climbing team and teaching people of all ages how to ski.
His current project includes a 5.14a/b, which he hopes to achieve soon. Next Spring, he also plans to participate in an expedition in Mt. Lhotse 8516m
